Congratulations to Dawnetta and Inigo on a Historic PSA Achievement!

Top Dog PSA is thrilled to congratulate Dawnetta and her incredible dog, Inigo, on their outstanding performance at the first-ever PSA Worlds event, held November 8–10, 2024, in Myrtle Beach, SC. Competing in the highly challenging PSA 3 division, they achieved an impressive 3rd place finish in a field of 17 exceptional teams.

The event, judged by Janet Edwards—PSA Director of Judges and East Coast Regional Director—featured creative, fun, and challenging scenarios with a sun, sand, and stick-hits theme. Of the 17 Level 3 teams, nine were eliminated for biting during obedience, and after another team withdrew, Dawnetta and Inigo advanced as one of only seven teams to move on to protection—a group that included many previous Level 3 titleholders.

PSA III – Protection

In protection, Dawnetta and Inigo passed three out of four scenarios, earning a total score of 207.5. Their hard work, dedication, and teamwork were evident in this incredible performance. The entire Top Dog PSA community is immensely proud of Dawnetta for her accomplishments and for representing our club so well on the national stage.

Congratulations

Inigo’s journey is also worth celebrating. While he is owned and primarily handled by Dawnetta, he earned a leg of his Level 3 title earlier this year in Texas, where he was shown by Clay Smith. This milestone reflects the versatility and excellence of this remarkable dog and his handlers. We would also like to extend our congratulations to the other top competitors:
Ann and Patty, who earned 1st place in the Level 3 division.
Tressie and Finnack, who earned 2nd place.

A big round of applause to all the competitors who stepped on the field—it was a pleasure to watch each of you showcase your skills and passion for the sport.

Congratulations again, Dawnetta and Inigo—you’ve made us all incredibly proud!
